Ranveer Singh GQ interview

When Megha Shah from GQ interviewed the brand ambassador of adrenaline, Ranveer Singh, we had no idea it would be this candid. We are mighty pleased!

Even though the initial controversy, basking in the glory of Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s dream project, Bajirao-Mastani, Ranveer has been invading the theatres and our hearts since his debut itself. When the lad in unkempt hair stretched out his hands in the song Tarkeebein, we knew we would be fangirling forever.

Known for his always-on-a-high demeanour and eccentric sense of style, Ranveer Singh landed up as this at GQ’s Best Dressed Bash 2015, mentioned Shah.

But the more memorable part of the interview was what he shared…

No Kidding!

“Some actors get weird around me, mostly guys from my generation. I think I make them insecure,” he says.

“But 200 characters live inside my head. They just pop out.. it just happens,” he says. “I oscillate between extremes.”

When asked about what made him endorse a condom brand…

“No mainstream celebrity has ever promoted a condom brand, and I decided I should. So I called up Durex and told them I wanted to work with them.”

And when asked about why he chose to work with Durex, he responded that it was the one he used when he was 12. Who has sex with a 12-year-old, Shah wonder.

“A 14-year-old,”

Finally, when Shah mentioned the Relationship.

“I fucked around a lot till I was 26… but I love being in a relationship. It’s the best thing ever,” he says, the contents of another cup flushing though his throat, moistening the tips of his gravity-defying moustache. “My whole thought process has changed. My priorities have changed. My mind — set, my outlook, my worldview — everything is changing. Motherfucker! I must be growing up.”

Yeah, Motherfucker Love! May you always find yourself in the arms of your Lady Love…
