How would you feel if your foot was mercilessly cut off from your body? Living your entire life without a foot, isn’t that scary? Being dependent on crutches for the rest of your life; how agonising will that be!

Joe was diagnosed with Pigmented villonodular synovitis (or PVNS) which is a joint disorder. It not treated them it spreads to nearby areas and causes severe damage. To prevent further destruction, Joe was recommended to amputate his foot. When faced with such situations, most people succumb to depression but not Joe. He turned this painful procedure into fun. Yes, fun! Joe and his friends found amusement in agony. These pictures show the kind of guy he is; lively in the face is distress!

He is contemplating how to go about the amputation. Measuring the foot and thinking, “How ’bout a chainsaw!?”

Joe didn’t stop here. He went further to get a tattoo marking the area his foot was to be removed from.

He got himself a fake beard and every time a nurse came in with his medication, he would ask, “What took you so long? I’ve been waiting here forever!”
