With the sheer craze for the grand saga at an all-time high, you might remember that a few days ago, a 360° version of the intro video had popped up on Facebook, as a promote the soon to premiere Season 6. While the brilliance and awesomeness of being able to see Westeros from each and every different angle simply blew us away, something else was uploaded even more recently, by a fan, that too, which left us completely in awe.

Karan Chitra Deshmukh, a Mumbai-based musician, primarily a percussionist, uploaded a video of him playing the iconic Game of Thrones theme song, composed by Ramin Djawadi, on no less than 10 tablas that had all been tuned to different notes. Using 9 dayans (the main drum) and 1 bayan (the low-pitched drum), Deshmukh used a version of what is usually known as a “tabla tarang” to play the title theme with an Indian twist, producing a completely surreal experience, all the while, without missing a beat.

Listen to the amazing performance in the video below, with a small tribute to the show at the end. We guarantee you’ll be humming this all day!
