The shortest man ever, Mr. Chandra Bahadur Dangi has broken World records as compared to Gul Mohammed in the ratio 54.6cm: 57cm. It was since the time he was spotted by a woodcutter in the Dang districts of Nepal, he has been awarded the title of the shortest adult human ever measured till February 2012. Chandra Bahadur Dangi is equal to the size of six stacked cans of baked beans according to his measurement recorded as 54.6 cm. He had broken the World record of Gul Mohammed who is the second shortest man with the height of 57cm.
Chandra Bahadur Dangi has six brothers and two sisters. He is the seventh sibling in the family. Three of his five brothers are less than 4 feet tall while his other two brothers and two sisters are of average height.
Resident of a village
Chandra Bahadur Dangi is the resident of the Reemkholi village in Dang District towards the capital of Kathmandu. The village has no television with very poor electricity.
Chandra Bahadur Dangi is reported to have taken no medical help despite of his physical features.
Chandra Bahadur Dangi spends his time making placemats and head straps for villagers to carry heavy loads that would help them in their work. He also looks after the cows and buffaloes of the village.
Guinness Book of world Records
Chandra Bahadur Dangi had travelled to Katmandu in order to be measured by the Guinness Book of World Records Officials.
Chandra Bahadur Dangi wished to meet the World’s tallest man named Sultan Kosen in London and he did.

At the age of 73, Chandra Bahadur Dangi met the world’s shortest woman named Jyoti Amage of Nagpur, where both of them posed for the Guinness Book of World Records in the 57th edition in 2013.
His big dreams
After having interacted with the artists of Rambo circus in Mumbai, he flew off to South Pacific island of Samoa. In spite of his life full of struggles, he never stopped while he said, “I want to visit every part of the World and through the award I am getting the opportunity.”
This man used to lead a very disciplined life. Once he had denied ice-cream and took only two sips of water! However, Chandra Bahadur had to do with a very struggled life. He used to have only two spoons of rice with a piece of chicken or fish barely!
He is the recipient of two Guinness Book of World Records, one for the World’s shortest man and the shortest person ever recorded.
Chandra Bahadur Dangi died of an unknown disease in the Tropical Medical Centre in Pago Pago in Samoa.
