China ends one child policy. Every married Chinese couple could have two children from now on. This is the message conveyed by the Senior Communist Party leaders of China after there was strict No to the principle of having more than one child in 1978 once being one of the most densely populated countries. It was thirty years back when China’s population increased to such an extent under Mao Tsang, that government failed to meet the demand for food as per population growth, when in 1955, it launched the campaign for birth control.
However, that diminished much growth rate of China as per working labours. Therefore, the new policy has eased much the family planning restrictions of the country. Any parent who meets certain conditions could have more than one child.
Keeping in mind the shrinking labour force of China and the required manpower that failed in 2012, the said policy has been implemented. This will be a perfect response to the ageing population. Now, that the shortage of manpower is adversely affecting the economies of the country, China is all set to adopt the new policy.
With the help of Population and Family Planning Commissions that exist in national and international levels, it has been found out that the country is suffering from poor economy owing to the lack of labour force. Therefore, the new implemented change.
Therefore, we congratulate the would be parents for the new policy as well as welcome the new change. Hope this would help the country to grow economically.
